We take your data rights seriously. This page explains each right you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and how to use them.
1. Right of Access
You can ask us for a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We will provide this in a clear, easy-to-read format.
How to use it: Send an email to support@perfect-momento.com with the subject line "Data Access Request." We will respond within 30 days.
We may ask you to verify your identity before sharing your data. This protects your information from being shared with the wrong person.
2. Right to Correction
If any of your personal data is wrong or incomplete, you have the right to ask us to fix it. We will correct your data without unnecessary delay.
How to use it: Email us at support@perfect-momento.com with the details that need to be changed. Tell us what is incorrect and what the correct information is.
3. Right to Deletion (Right to Be Forgotten)
You can ask us to delete your personal data. We will do so when:
- The data is no longer needed for its original purpose
- You withdraw your consent and there is no other legal reason to keep it
- You object to the processing and we have no overriding reason to continue
- The data was processed unlawfully
- The law requires us to delete it
Note: We may need to keep some data for legal or regulatory reasons (for example, health records required by Quebec law). We will explain this if it applies to your request.
4. Right to Restriction
You can ask us to limit how we process your data. This means we will store your data but not use it. You can ask for restriction when:
- You dispute the accuracy of your data (while we verify it)
- The processing is unlawful but you prefer restriction over deletion
- We no longer need the data but you need it for a legal claim
- You have objected to processing (while we consider your objection)
How to use it: Email support@perfect-momento.com and explain which data you want restricted and why.
5. Right to Data Portability
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, common, machine-readable format. You can also ask us to transfer your data directly to another organization when technically possible.
This right applies to data you provided to us and that we process based on your consent or a contract.
Formats we provide: CSV or JSON files.
6. Right to Object
You can object to us processing your personal data at any time. This applies when we process data based on legitimate interests. Once you object, we will stop processing unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds.
You can always object to direct marketing. We will stop immediately with no exceptions.
7. Right to Withdraw Consent
When we process your data based on your consent, you can take back that consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect any processing that happened before you withdrew.
